the brief
Leading global broker, Calyon Financial, turned to Constructive to design, fit-out and furnish an inspirational state-of-the-art office space over three floors on London’s Lombard Street. Included within the 18,000 sq ft space was a trading floor and office suite, each requiring extensive security measures.
the solution
To ensure no disruption or downtime to trading required a complex phasing of works over a 40 week period. The expanded trading floor is now accommodated on one level of the building, and takes into account the necessary privacy and security that the traders need to perform their roles. The fit out also included a new Communications room, with significant upgrades to cope with the increased trading. A complete new office suite, including reception, meeting spaces, executive offices and open plan workspace, was also created.

Calyon Financial now has an office that reflects its status as a global financial organisation. The reception is a stunning yet welcoming area that provides an impressive first impression for visitors, while the new trading floor is the envy of the industry.
