the brief

When CAF moved offices, within EC4, they were adamant that the new office must enhance the working environment of the staff and visitors alike - without being opulent. The charity's office plays an important role in the successful working of the organisation - meetings take place with Trustees, the Government and large organisations. In short, the office needed to be functional, attractive and motivational with a standard of fit-out commensurate with CAF's charitable status.

the solution

Constructive won the contract as they met CAF's criteria and the 'corporate fit' was perfect both in terms of size and mentality. Good communication and working practices, with a track record of responsiveness, honesty and integrity were also important. Constructive was appointed to provide the space planning, design and complete fit-out for CAF's new office - with just 3 months to complete the work.

The three elements to a successful project were met - quality, timescale and budget. CAF is delighted with its new office. Staff are energised by their new environment. Effective use of natural light and space provides a productive dynamic ambience.
