The Brief

With several busy restaurants in Glasgow, the Di Maggio's brand has
become synonymous with an affordable, family-friendly night out.
Having worked with Di Maggios successfully on previous projects,
when the West Nile Street branch needed refurbishment,
Constructive was the obvious choice.

The Solution

Constructive updated Di Maggio's design to create a warm and
contemporary Mediterranean ambience, which maintains its image
as a family-favourite. Vibrant new external signage ensures that the
restaurant cant fail to be noticed by passing trade, drawing in hungry
shoppers and theatre-goers. Black-and-white images of Joe Di
Maggio, Marilyn Monroe and Italy's 2006 World Cup-winning team
watch over diners as they enjoy Italian favourites, including pizzas
cooked in a traditional wood-burning oven.

The Result

Constructive's refurbishment of Di Maggio's West Nile Street branch
has proven a success, with the restaurant winning the award for
Best Family-Friendly Restaurant at the Scottish Restaurant Awards.
