the brief

To ensure that the SNH's new premises delivered solutions that matched its values and beliefs, it was important for Constructive to understand the organisation's culture and the challenges it faced. Subsequent to winning the contract, Constructive was appointed the principal vendor for all areas within the Inverness headquarters of the Building Research Establishment Environmental Assessment Method.

the solution

Constructive provided solutions that enhanced the aesthetics of Great Glen House, with many products further supported by the manufacturers unique twelve-year guarantee. Constructive carefully planned the space throughout the facility, creating open-plan offices, meeting rooms, library areas, boardrooms, a reception, a canteen, a mailroom, patio areas and a registry. In addition, Constructive worked closely with the SNH Steering Group to gauge the complexity of their storage requirements prior to the move, successfully reducing their capacity from 1500 linear metres to 650 linear metres.

The project was completed on time and within budget, giving SNH a home to be proud of that offered sustainability and flexibility for the future.
